Thursday 1.

Snapshot taken on Tuesday afternoon of grandson Matthew outside Bonham's in Knightsbridge. Having motored up on Tuesday morning, picked up Matthew, and taken a tube (Underground Railway, Lori) to South Kensington we walked to Knightsbridge then spent the afternoon viewing Bonham's Arms and Armour sale. I spent Wednesday at the auction, getting in the occasional bid (a few successfully). Motored home yesterday evening. We were very glad to be home. Posted by Picasa

Mike! I love having a private interpreter! (actually knew what the tube was). What's the weather like over there? We are starting to cool down in a big way. It's warm in here tho...I'm cooking a gigantic turkey for Thanksgiving and it really heats up the house. Maybe someday you can join us!

Hi Lori. We've had a couple of snow showers today. It didn't settle but it was the first snow of the winter. Wouldn't it be nice if it were the last too? It's been a cold day.
I've heard of your Thanksgiving. It sounds a good way to start winter, and we'd love to join you sometime. Don't know when, though. But thank you for the lovely thought. Good night to you both. Warm regards, Mike and Ann.

You both, along with Nea's family are formally invited to stay with us whenever you can get here. It would be so nice to meet all of you. We have plenty of room at the farm.
