Thursday.

Very swift blog, just to let family and friends know. Granddaughter Tuva (in Sweden) has fallen off a see-saw and broken her right humerus just below the shoulder. She is home, strapped up, in a good deal of discomfort, but is being very brave.
Good night all.

Dear Tuva,
The first rule of see-sawing is not to do it with a partner heavier than yourself and if you decide to fall off you should wait until your end of the implement is just above the ground before hurling yourself to destruction! Other useless advice is to fix your pony saddle and stirrups firmly to the see-saw and always wear your riding helm. I do hope you are not too uncomfortable for too long, please take care to heal properly before going out arm-wrestling with the bears in the forest as they can be a bit inconsiderate sometimes. All loving blessings,
GUCarl.

She is a bit of a dare devil, UCarl. She had two boys in front of her, on her end and still they didn't out wiegh those on the far end.

I shall pass on the helm, saddle and stirrups idea, I like it.

More x-rays on Tuesday will tell us more, but not a good start to the school term.
