Saturday.

Took this photo on our way home from Carl and Judy's on Thursday. It is opposite the two churches on the borders of Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. Yesterday we went to the cinema club in the Ansell Room to see a film called (I think) The Weeping Camel. It is described as a semi documentary, is set in Mongolia and records a family of nomads who count the family wealth in sheep, goats and camels. Very Old Testament. Enjoyed it. It's nice to think there are people who lead a thoroughly natural lifestyle still. Today spent the morning pottering in the garden. Put straining wire along the fence, then tied up the new apple tree; tried to give it the idea of espaliering itself - awkward word. Then re-roped a lantern clock. This afternoon went to scrabble club - won the middle game. Kevin won the other two. He scored seven letter words in both games. Toad in the hole for supper, followed by an apple and apricot pie with custard. Very tasty. Time for bed, I think. Goodnight all.

Clearly I shall have to visit Swaffham.

You know some super-heroes wear their pants on top of their trousers, I don't think boxer shorts and strings would work for them either.
